HighWinds is located at Pine Mount Ridge, Barik. The Lady Hydari Park (Approx. 0.5km) is located at a walk-able distance from the hotel. The must-visit Wards Lake (Approx. 2km) is the most calm getaway. The Lady Hydari Park has a mini zoo that comprises 73 species of birds, 140 of reptiles and other mammals. Other places of tourist attraction are Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak and Umiam Lake.
